Cullman’s Got Talent auditions set for April 25 at Wallace State

    CULLMAN, Ala. – The spotlight will soon shine on local performers as the Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County prepare to host the inaugural Cullman’s Got Talent, a community talent competition benefiting the Cullman County Public Library System. 

    Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Wallace State Community College Burrow Center, located at 801 Main St. NW in Hanceville. 

    Organizers say the competition is open to performers of all ages and a wide variety of talents. Singers, dancers, comedians, jugglers, magicians, small bands and other unique acts are encouraged to audition. 

    “Cullman…are you ready for it?” organizers said in a promotional announcement for the event. “The spotlight is on for the very first Cullman’s Got Talent. We’re searching for amazing talent of all ages.” 

    Participants will have up to 15 minutes per act during auditions, which includes both setup and performance time. Preregistration is required for those planning to audition. 

    The competition will award cash prizes to the top three performers. 

    Organizers are encouraging anyone who believes they have a talent that can “wow the crowd” to sign up and take part in the inaugural event.
