CULLMAN, Ala. – The United Way of Cullman County Young Professionals Crawfish Boil event is back for another year, hosted and sponsored by Hank’s Sports Bar & Rumors Deli, on Friday, March 27, from noon-7 p.m.
UWCC Resource Development & Outreach Manager Director Taylor Johnson said Hank’s has been an incredible partner for years, and hosting the crawfish boil is one of UWCC’s favorite ways to give back.
“It’s always a great atmosphere and honestly one of the tastiest ways to support the community,” Johnson said. “Bring your friends, your coworkers and your appetite. This one always fills up fast, and it’s always a great night for a great cause. We’re really excited about the crawfish boil because it’s one of our Young Professionals’ biggest fundraisers of the year and one of the most fun events we host. It’s a chance for families and friends to come together, enjoy great food and live music and support something that truly makes a difference in our community.”
The price is $40 for all-you-can-eat crawfish. There’s also a $25 to-go plate option. Live entertainment will be provided by Jake Mann & The Proof, and there will be a crawfish-themed photo booth.
“We’re talking hot, seasoned crawfish, corn, potatoes, sausage, cold drinks, live music and a whole lot of community packed into one night,” Johnson said. “Even better? Every ticket purchased helps support 18 local partner agencies right here in Cullman County, strengthening programs focused on literacy, food security, health and stability.
