Memorial service for Chris “Bird” Burk, age 49, of Cullman, is Friday, March 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Chris was born on August 22, 1976. He passed away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pete O’Donnell; grandparents, Hazel and Harold Wilson.
He is survived by his mother, Janet O’Donnell; daughter, Allison Burk; sons, Riley Burk and Blake Swearengin; sister, Jessie O’Donnell; brothers, Matt O’Donnell and Randall Burk; grandson, Wren Christopher McGraw; niece, Anna Taylor; special “grandkids”, Anthony, Zachary and Blakely Friedrich.
