CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Schools will host its annual career fair later this month, offering prospective employees the opportunity to meet with school leaders and learn more about working in the district.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, from 2-5 p.m. at Desperation Church, located at 510 Fifth St. SW in Cullman.
Principals and representatives from all 29 schools in the Cullman County Schools system will be present, along with representatives from district departments seeking employees in several support roles.
Organizers said attendees may have the opportunity to interview and potentially receive job offers during the event.
Available positions include certified teachers, instructional aides, cafeteria workers, support personnel, clerical staff, bus drivers and maintenance personnel.
“We believe that all children can learn and be successful in a safe learning environment in which a highly effective educator provides exceptional educational experiences,” said Cullman County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette.
According to the school system, the district serves students from pre-K through 12th grade across 29 schools. Cullman County Schools currently serves 9,605 students and employs approximately 1,208 staff members while operating a fleet of 109 buses.
School officials encourage anyone interested in joining the system to attend the event and speak directly with school administrators and department representatives.
Cullman County Schools said the career fair provides an opportunity for individuals to learn about available positions and discover how they can become part of the team serving students across Cullman County.
“Please stop by and see us on March 19 and find out how you can be a part of the CCBOE team that gets to serve the students of Cullman County,” he said.
