A visitation for Garlon Williams, 78, of Bremen will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday March 9th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams was born on August 26, 1947, in Cullman, Alabama to Frank Williams and Jeanette Turner. He passed away on March 5th, 2026, at his home in Bremen, Alabama.

Mr. Williams was a well-known mechanic and respected dozer and tractor mechanic. Those who knew him understood that if a machine had a problem, he was the man who could figure it out. His knowledge, skill, and hands-on experience earned him the trust of countless people who depended on his work. Mr. Williams was also a simple man who believed in doing things his own way. He lived his life the way he wanted—honest, hardworking, and without pretense.

Beyond his work, Mr. Williams will be remembered as a man who valued independence, hard work, and living life on his own terms. His presence, knowledge, and the mark he left on those who knew him will not be forgotten.

Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Darrell (Shelly) Williams; grandson Cameron (Skyler) Williams; and niece Debbie Williams Thomas.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father Frank Williams, mother Jeanette Turner, and brother Ottis (Edith) Williams.
