TRIMBLE, Ala. – A new locally owned business in Trimble is offering customers a unique retail concept that blends a firearm store with a multivendor market. Iron and Lace LLC, owned by Ashley Moreland, opened Feb. 1 at the Trimble Super Saver.
Moreland said the idea developed from her family’s experience renting booths at flea markets and vendor events.
“We wanted a place of our own,” Moreland said. “We’ve always enjoyed doing vendor markets, so we decided to start one and see if it worked. At the same time, we realized we could also operate a firearm store in the same space.”
The dual concept allows customers to shop a variety of products while also browsing firearms and related items. Moreland said many couples appreciate the setup, as it offers something of interest for different shoppers under one roof.
Moreland said community involvement is a priority. Having relocated to Alabama about a year ago, the family views the store as a way to connect with residents and become active in the area.
“We want to be part of the community,” she said. “We try to offer competitive prices and build relationships with people here.”
The vendor market features a wide range of merchandise, including antiques, clothing, ceramics and other specialty items. Vendors rent booth space and are encouraged to offer a variety of products.
Looking ahead, Moreland said the current location serves as a proof of concept. If successful, the family hopes to relocate to a larger space to accommodate additional vendors and expand operations.

Iron and Lace is located at the Trimble Super Saver at 5981 County Road 222, Cullman, AL 35057.
