On July 4, 1963, she married the love of her life, beginning a partnership that spanned 40 years until his passing.

Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure, sharing a love of travel and treasured time with those they held dear. Their bond was one of devotion and joy, and her love for him remained a cherished part of her story.

She found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments – the sound of the ocean at the beach, the flutter of hummingbirds outside her window, and quiet afternoons spent knitting or watching her favorite Hallmark movies. She loved traveling, cheering on her Crimson Tide, and participating in Bible studies that deepened her faith. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a constant source of encouragement, always offering kind words, steady support, and unwavering love.
