Donald Hugh Allbritten, born on August 31, 1951, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Family was at the center of his life, and the love he gave will continue to be felt by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the blessing of loving him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Roberts Allbritten, who passed away in July 2018. Their love and life together remain a cherished part of his family’s story.
Donald is survived by his three children: Zena Genae Allbritten Brazier and her husband, Michael; Kevin Wade Allbritten and his wife, Oury; and Shauna Leigh Allbritten Vance and her husband, Shane. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was also joyfully anticipating the arrival of his fifth great-grandchild, expected to be due within a month — a blessing he looked forward to with great love.
Donald’s life was marked by strength, love, and devotion to his family. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, resilience, and deep connection. His memory will be treasured always.
