Marketing representative

Humble Roots, LLC, parent company of The Cullman Tribune, Cullman Today and Community Matters magazine, is seeking a marketing representative to join our expanding media network.
This is not a traditional sales position. This is a strategic marketing role within a growing, multiplatform media organization that includes print, digital, video programming, live civic events and emerging podcast development.
As our platforms continue to grow, we are building a revenue team designed to support expanded programming, new shows and creative content initiatives. The right candidate will play a direct role in helping shape the next phase of local media in Cullman County.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage advertising relationships across print, digital and video platforms
- Build bundled marketing packages including newspaper, magazine, social media, app, event sponsorships and the Cullman Today morning show
- Collaborate with our marketing manager to create strategic, customized campaigns
- Assist in packaging sponsorship opportunities for new shows and podcast initiatives
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain long-term partnerships
- Maintain organized tracking of prospects, renewals and campaign performance
- Represent the Tribune brand with professionalism and credibility

Compensation
Base salary plus commission. Structured performance benchmarks at 60 and 90 days with growth opportunity as the organization expands.
