Funeral service for George Oden, age 58, of Vinemont, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Harper officiating; burial at Oden Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Oden passed away on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at his residence. He was born Feb. 9, 1967, in to Vernon Arthur Oden and Carolyn Childers Oden.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Arthur Oden and Jim Oden; brother-in-law, Steve Ryan; and grandparents; Ollis Arthur and Venora Oden and Orbin and Loil Childers.
Survivors include his mother; sisters, Sonya Ryan, Linda (John) Webb, and Mary Jane Oden; sister-in-law, Doris Oden; nephew, Bradley Fields; niece, Hannah (Cody) Landis; niece, Elizabeth (Justin) Maxwell; nephew, Ben (Haley) Oden; great niece, Paislee Fields; great nephew, Eli Landis; and great nephew, Slade Landis.
