Celebration of life visitation for Crystal Lee Henderson, age 54, of Hanceville, will be Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, from 4-8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Henderson passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center – Princeton. She was born, Nov. 29, 1971, to Donald Barbee and Brenda Barbee.

Crystal worked at Warehouse Discount Grocery in Hanceville for 21 years; she loved her coworkers and made tons of friends while there. She was known for her gentle grace and a heart that served as an anchor for many.

She wasn’t just the “working type,” she was a woman of many passions; she loved her music and loved it “Loud” from Tom MacDonald to Jelly Roll. She was the kind of person who would get lost in her many different types of movies, from Vampire Diaries to Freddie vs. Jason that she would watch over and over again. Next would be her football games, she would cheer loud from the stands or from the couch and it was always “Roll Tide!” Then nobody could cook like her, from her meat loaf to her potato salad… It is sure going to be missed.

Her yard was her sanctuary, filled with pink roses and hummingbird plants, and she was a huge animal lover through and through. Her biggest pride and joy were always her family — her husband, children, grandchildren, and all of the others that she helped raise that called her mom.

She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Bradley Tucker and Timothy Greyson Allcorn; father and mother-in-law, Larry A and Margaret Henderson.

Survivors include her husband, Brad Henderson; daughter, Morgan (Tim) Allcorn; son, Jordan Henderson; grandchildren, Maliyah and Jake Allcorn and Stormy Henderson; sister, Tina (Michael) Bell; nephews, Derrick and Dylan Bell; parents, Donald Barbee and Brenda Barbee; sisters-in-law, Danette (Keith) Johnson, Theresa (Sam) Benefield and Ginger (Jon) Tucker; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

There will be no formal service, as Crystal’s wishes were to be cremated, so please in lieu of flowers consider making a donation to help with her final expenses, this can be done at any Merchants Bank of Alabama location.
