Graveside Service for Althea Marie Calloway, age 89 of Athens, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Cullman City Cemetery with Tony Boyles officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Calloway passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Her Athens Health & Rehab. She was born Saturday, July 11, 1936, to William L Ziencina and Hedwig H Ziencina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Calloway & daughter, Jean Marie Calloway.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Maynard (Greg Lay); son, Robert Calloway (Joan); grandchildren, Jacqueline Wright (Michael), Jesse Maynard (Amy), Ryan Calloway; great grandchildren, Cooper Wright, Lola Maynard & Isabella Wright.
