Funeral services for Iona Faucett, 91, of Hanceville will be 12 p.m. Thursday January 15th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Valley Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Faucett was born December 11, 1934, in Sanford, Florida to William & Irene Moore. She passed away January 10, 2026, in Cullman, Alabama.
Iona was an avid Alabama Football fan and loved watching all SEC games. She also enjoyed watching Dancing with the stars and really liked any show that was centered around music. She spent the first 30 years of her life in Sanford, Florida where she was born. Then she moved to Jefferson County, Alabama where she worked at American Printing for 30 years.
After retiring she moved to Cullman County and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by all that knew her and liked by everyone who met her. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Faucett is survived by her husband, Homer Faucett; son, Allen Thomas (Pam); granddaughter, Alaina Thomas-Wilson (Michael); and her siblings, Evelyn, Barbara, Ailene, and Carolyn.
Mrs. Faucett was preceded in death by her parents, William Moore & Irene Moore; and her siblings, Buddy, James, Danny, and Thelma.
