
CULLMAN, Ala. – A volunteer workday has been scheduled to continue construction on the East Cullman Baptist Association’s (ECBA’s) disaster relief warehouse building. The workday will take place Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m.-noon at the construction site adjacent to the ECBA Ministry Resource Center.
The warehouse is being built as part of the association’s ongoing disaster relief efforts in partnership with Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief ministries.
Snacks and drinks will be provided for volunteers. Those who are able are encouraged to bring tools, including 8- to 12-foot ladders, cordless drills and metal cutting tools.
Organizers expressed appreciation to those who have already donated time and resources toward the project.
Additional workdays are expected to be scheduled and will be announced through the association’s Facebook page and email updates.
Financial donations for the project may be mailed to the East Cullman Baptist Association, 341 Alabama Highway 157, Cullman, AL 35058. Donations should be designated “DR Building.”
