CULLMAN, Ala. – City of Cullman residents who have a passion for trees and community stewardship are encouraged to apply to serve on the Cullman Tree Commission.
The advisory board helps guides local leaders on the care, preservation and expansion of the city’s urban forest.
The commission provides recommendations to the mayor and city council on matters involving the community forest.
City Hall officials said the commission typically meets at 10 a.m. on the third Tuesday of every even-numbered month in the city hall auditorium, 204 Second Ave. NE, unless otherwise posted.
Residents interested in serving on the commission are encouraged to submit an application online at https://cullmanal.gov/board-application.
