Funeral services for Joseph D. Villa, 75, of Hanceville will be 10 a.m. Friday January 9th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow the service at Cullman City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday January 8th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Villa was born June 18, 1950, in Lorrain, Ohio.  He passed away January 3, 2026, in Hanceville, Alabama at his residence.

Mr. Villa passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and meaningful connections. Throughout his life, Joseph loved deeply—his family, his friends, and the many moments that made life special. He had a generous heart and a warm spirit that drew people to him, and in return, he was truly loved by many.

Those who knew Joseph will remember his caring nature, his ability to make others feel valued, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Mr. Villa is survived by his wife, Charlotte Villa; children, Bret Villa (Sherry), Scot Villa, Chris Villa (Kim); grandchildren, Joseph “Hunter” Villa, Mason Villa, Kaite Villa, Cassidy Villa; siblings, Darlene Miller, Linda Rayl, Candy Villa; mother-in-law, Martha Nell Hinkle Green; a host of nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Daisy.

Mr. Villa was preceded in death by his parents, Josepha & Juanita Villa; and his aunt and uncle, Phil & Bonnie Nolen.
