CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry has officially qualified to run for Alabama Public Service Commission, Place 1.
Below is Gentry’s announcement:
“Today, I officially qualified as a candidate for the Alabama Public Service Commission, place 1. I want to be a voice for all people and bring transparency and accountability to the work of the Commission. I’ve spent my career protecting our communities as Sheriff, and I’m ready to protect Alabama ratepayers and the jobs of our utility, railroad, and transportation workers. Thank you to all my friends and family who came out to support me. Please vote Gentry for PSC on May 19th!”
Gentry announced his candidacy back on June 6, 2025.
