Mrs. Lynn was born on February 28, 1986 in Cullman. She passed away on December 30, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman.

A loving daughter to her mother

Courtney was many things – A sister, a daughter, a mother, a lover and a fighter. To those who knew her, she was a woman with a beautiful, extraordinary soul. Some might describe her as a strong or outspoken person while others saw her as gentle and deeply loving. Trying to put her in a box, define her, or label her as one thing was never easy because she was so complexed and exceeded more than any expectation placed on her. Though she has great depth, she also found joy in life’s simple things like playing her guitar, collecting plants, tending to her chickens and capturing moments through photography. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her children. Talking to Courtney, you could instantly tell how proud she was of her kids. She marveled at their achievements and any conversation she could relate back to them. She relished in being a mother and did it with grace always ready to offer advice, lend an ear, or help pick up the pieces when life felt broken. She had the brightest smile in any room she ever walked in and a contagious laugh that could draw in crowds. Her presence drew people in and for so many she was a shoulder to cry on, a source of comfort and a symbol of strength. By being herself, her brilliance and beauty radiated – inside and out – through everything she did and every life she touched.

She was a free spirit, a Gypsy soul.
