Obituary: Margie Veal

Funeral Service for Margie Veal, age 93, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Bennett officiating; burial at Oak Level Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. 
 
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
 
Mrs. Veal passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at UAB Palliative Care. She was born March 22, 1932, in Cullman, AL to Alvin and Lydia Howard. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas Lester Veal; son, Keith Veal; and parents. 
 
Survivors include her son, Kelvin (Angie) Veal; grandson, Jaret (Amie) Veal; grandson, Jake (Erica) Veal; granddaughter, Katie (Alex) Williams; great-grandchildren, Evie Veal, Waylan Veal, Emmarie Veal, Marlee Veal, and Chessy Williams; and host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
