Roger Dale Bowen Sr. was a man whose presence brought lightness, laughter and an easy calm wherever he went. Known for his steady, upbeat spirit, Roger had a rare ability to make people feel at ease, often with a joke, a grin or a perfectly timed laugh. Roger loved the simple joys of life. He found peace on the water while fishing, content with a rod in hand and time moving slowly. Music was another great love of his, especially singing karaoke, where he truly shined. Roger had a creative streak that showed in his favorite pastime of turning familiar songs into funny, made-up versions that never failed to bring laughter to those around him. He was a natural tinkerer who enjoyed working on small engines, always curious and always fixing or improving something. When he was not doing that, he could often be found riding his motorcycle, most notably his Honda Shadow, enjoying the freedom of the open road. Roger spent much of his career as a truck driver, primarily hauling gas. He took pride in his work and approached it with the same reliability and calm demeanor that defined the rest of his life.

What people will remember most about Roger is his energy. He was almost always in a good mood, quick to joke, and genuinely loved to laugh. His humor was easy, his presence was calming and being around him brought a sense of comfort and peace.

Roger Dale Bowen Sr. leaves behind memories filled with music, laughter and kindness. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
