Funeral Service for Jerita Fay Cobbs, age 85 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Daniel’s Chapel Baptist Church with Jeremy Calloway and Dean Elrod officiating; she will lie in state at Daniel’s Chapel Baptist Church from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.; burial at Daniel’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cobbs passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Cullman Regional. She was born January 3, 1940, to Charlie Elrod and Mary Elrod.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Bates, husband, James Vincent, husband, J. P. Cobbs; brothers, Howard Elrod, P. D. Elrod, Terry Elrod, Larry Elrod; sisters, Nell Woodruff and Carolyn Jones.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Davis (Michael), Debra Fogle (Dewayne), Cindy Harris (Jackie), Teresa Kreps and Angie Green (Timmy);
grandchildren, Natasha Sanders, Malcolm Fogle, Misty Nunnely, Jack Harris, Kristy Reed, Ricky Kreps, Daniel Green, Devon Green; 9 Great Grandchildren; 2 great great Grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Elrod and Dean Elrod.
