CULLMAN, Ala. – A local entrepreneur hosted her second Small Business Christmas Market event on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center. Small Business Market Owner Shayla Waldner said they wrapped up the Christmas Market with an even larger presence than last year.

“We had some of the neatest and most adorable shops set up and just as many happy shoppers,” Waldner said. “At 9:30 we had a line wrapped around to the side of the building of shoppers waiting for the early bird shopper gifts. We also had  60-plus vendors set up. I am so happy that even with the economy as of late that people can still come together, celebrate the holidays and shop.”

Waldner said with running a market as big as this, it has become hard to accommodate and please all — but it was a great turnout with satisfied vendors and shoppers.

“The kids loved Santa, shoppers were able to buy Christmas presents and fun knickknacks and amazing food was served,” Waldner said. “Now, to gear up for our Spring Market.”

The spring date is May 2, 2026, at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center. Get more info at Facebook/Small Business Christmas/Easter Market
