HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Hanceville Friends of the Festival (FOTF) will host a citywide Downtown Hanceville Trunk or Treat event this Sunday, Oct. 26, from 4-6 p.m. at the corner of Commercial Street and U.S. Highway 31.

FOTF Event Organizer Nolan Bradford said this is the group’s fourth year hosting the trunk or treat in Hanceville.

“This is a citywide candy giveaway in downtown Hanceville,” Bradford said. “Cars will line up on Commercial Street. Parking is available at city hall, adjacent to the event.”

If you would like to register a car and participate in the event, information is on the registration form on the Hanceville Friends of the Festival Facebook page.

”This is likely the largest trunk or treat in the area; we had upwards of 5,000 go through in years past,” Bradford said. “Come downtown first, then feel free to visit the event at Hanceville Elementary. Additional information can be found on their Facebook page.”

Bradford was referencing the Hanceville Fall Frenzy event, which will take place from 4-8 p.m. the same day in front of the Hanceville Middle School gym and include games, food, a haunted house, chili cook-off, trunk or treat and more.

Hanceville Middle School is located at 805 Commercial St., Hanceville, AL 35077.
