
CULLMAN, Ala. — 6th Grade Cullman Gold volleyball team comprised of 6th-grade students from East Elementary School has finished the season undefeated in the Cullman County Youth Volleyball Association League with a record of 12-0 and earned the number 1 seed in the Cullman County Youth Volleyball Tournament.
In addition to their local success, the team’s strong performance in the Girls Got Power League, with a record of 13-2, has earned them a Platinum bracket spot in the Elementary Youth Volleyball League Tournament. 6th Grade Cullman Gold will be competing against top teams from 6A and 7A schools across North Alabama, including Bob Jones, Hazel Green, Ardmore, and Madison Academy.
Due to conflicting dates of the Cullman County Youth Volleyball Tournament and the Elementary Youth Volleyball League Tournament, Number 1 seeded, 6th Grade Cullman Gold has opted out of the county tournament and will travel to Huntsville to compete at the regional level next Saturday, September 27th.
Congratulations to 6th Grade Cullman Gold on a successful season, with a total record of 28 wins, 3 losses, all while winning 57 of 66 sets this season.
