VINEMONT, Ala. – A new firearm business, 2nd Amendment Gun Sales, opened its doors to the public on Sept. 13, in Vinemont.

Owner Kimberlie Self and Co-Owner Savannah Marsh said they felt it was important to have this type of business in the community.

“Kim was the one who started the store; she has always had a love for firearms and loves collecting them,” Marsh said. “I believe it’s important to have us in the community because we are not only here to help people learn about firearms and how to safely use them, but we want to create a family-like environment to help our customers feel like they are also appreciated.”

The grand opening and ribbon cutting for the female-owned business took place Sept. 13.

“I feel our store is different from others because we are a women-owned store and we try to keep our prices affordable,” Marsh said. “We really like to take time in making sure our customers are coming in and leaving with something they will feel comfortable with. We are thankful for everyone that came out Saturday to support our business and we can’t wait to help others in the future.”

The store is located at 17949 U.S. Highway 31. Reach the store at 256-962-5455 or  secondamendment2023@outlook.com.
