CULLMAN, Ala. – October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Victim Services of Cullman has announced a series of local events designed to honor victims, support survivors and raise awareness throughout the community.
“The number of survivors served in the past year has doubled, showing just how urgent this need is in our community,” said Executive Director Jessica Atchley. “Domestic Violence Awareness Month gives us an opportunity not only to remember and honor but also to call our community together to take action. Each event in October is a chance to stand with survivors and show them they are not alone.”
The following is a list of events highlighted by Victim Services.
