CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County’s own one-stop venue for all things fall and fun, 4D Farm, is hosting a rodeo on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20, to kick off the Autumn season.
4D Farm Owner Beth Daniel said the first rodeo is The Alabama Stampede, a Professional Cowboys Association (PCA)-sanctioned rodeo.
“There will be rodeo-only and farm combo tickets available for the weekend,” Daniel said. “The farm opens at 4 p.m. for the combo ticket holders and gates open at 6 p.m. for rodeo. Rides and farm activities will be for those with the farm/rodeo combo ticket.”
She said the idea for the rodeo came her children’s involvement and interest in rodeo. Daniel’s oldest son, Lane, attends Pearl River in Poplarville, Mississippi, on a rodeo scholarship and rodeos in the Ozark region.
“We’re going to miss him on our first rodeo as he will be in Missouri competing in his first rodeo of the season,” Daniel said. “Brac and Colt both team rope in high school for Alabama High School (Rodeo) Association. We finally have a header and heeler in the same division, so it’s fun getting to watch them as a team this year. Navi Jane, our only girl, started Alabama Junior High this year. She runs barrels and poles.”
Daniel said all of their kids have been involved in rodeo for 4-5 years.
“The boys have qualified for nationals in Iowa for junior high and Wyoming in high school each year,” Daniel said. “They’ve also competed in Shawnee Oklahoma at the IFYR (International Finals Youth Rodeo) and the Patriot Junior Rodeo in Fort Worth Texas. The younger boys also plan to run at the rodeo at 4D.”
Daniel said Sept. 27-28, will be the fall festival opening weekend for the corn maze and pumpkin patch at 4D Farm.
“We will have a Latham magic show here and Hudd Music will be on-site as well,” Daniel said. “We will have a full list of calendar events on our website. We cannot wait to see everyone.”

- Tickets can be purchased online. The corn maze and pumpkin patch will not be open during rodeo weekend.
