Lillie Belle (Cullman County Animal Shelter)

CULLMAN, Ala. – Meet Lillie Belle, a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as bright as her spirit. Medium energy and full of enthusiasm for life, The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week is the kind of dog who will keep you company whether you’re on the trail or relaxing at home.

One of Lillie Belle’s most endearing qualities is her adorable underbite! Sit on the floor with her, and she’ll happily roll over onto her back, waiting patiently while you finish brushing her beautiful coat.

Smart, affectionate and eager to please, Lillie Belle would make the perfect companion, therapy dog or hiking partner.

“Such a perfect soul who has grabbed a hold of my heart!” her caregiver shared.

Lillie Belle’s adoption fee has been reduced to $35, as she is already spayed, though her true worth is beyond measure. That fee covers vaccines, microchip, wormer and a general vet exam.

Visit the shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. If Lillie Belle has already found her forever home, we encourage you to visit the shelter and meet the many other pets still waiting for someone to love.

Contact the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
