CULLMAN, Ala. – Southside Baptist Church is inviting the community to an evening of free food, games and family fun at its first-ever Block Party, set for Saturday, Aug. 30, from 4–7 p.m.
“We have fun planned for everyone!” said Southside Pastor Parker Allen. “There will be many activities including inflatables, games, face painting and free food — hotdogs, chips, popcorn, cotton candy and drinks.”
The event comes as Southside Baptist prepares for its upcoming church relaunch on Sept. 14.
“Our heart is to show Christ’s love to our community and this event is just a small part of doing that,” Allen explained. “Our prayer is that the community knows that our Southside church family loves them, but more importantly that God loves them.”
