CULLMAN, Ala. – Republican Heath Allbright easily won the State House District 11 General Election on Tuesday, beating Democrat Alexandria Braswell.
Unofficial districtwide results, according to the Alabama Secretary of State’s website:
- Alexandria Braswell: 11.15% (351 votes)
- Heath Allbright: 88.38% (2,783 votes)
- Write-in: 0.48% (15 votes)
Unofficial Cullman County results:
- Alexandria Braswell: 11.32% (271 votes)
- Heath Allbright: 88.30% (2,113 votes)
- Write-in: 0.38% (9 votes)
The District 11 seat became vacant earlier this year when former Rep. Randall Shedd, R-Fairview, joined the staff of Senate President Pro Tem Garlan Gudger.
