Orthopedic surgeon Eric Goodrich, DO, MS joins Cullman Regional Medical Group

CULLMAN, Ala. – Orthopedic surgeon Eric Goodrich, DO, MS has joined the Cullman Regional Medical Group.

Goodrich attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he played college football. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He continued his training with a sports medicine fellowship at Hughston Foundation in Columbus, Georgia.

Goodrich brings a diverse background in both civilian and military medicine. He completed a military internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He became a flight surgeon through the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute. He then served as a senior flight surgeon and medical department head with the United States Navy at Naval Air Station Pensacola, where he provided medical care to active duty aviators and was on-call for aviation related emergencies.

He provides treatment for sports injuries, fracture care; joint pain; total shoulder, hip, and knee replacement; direct anterior total hip replacement; knee and shoulder arthroscopy; rotator cuff repair; ACL injuries and reconstruction; carpal tunnel syndrome; tendon and ligament injuries; arthritis management; and general orthopedic care.
