Red Barn Farm hosting Flower Fridays
CULLMAN, Ala. – Red Barn Farm, known for its homemade baked goods and fresh-picked flower bouquets, is hosting a flower stand on Fridays in Cullman.
Founder and Owner Allie Johnson said she started her business a few years ago and each year she’s learned and grown.
“We’ve sold bouquets at the Copper Cricket in Cullman and also at the Haynes Farm store in Fairview,” Johnson said. “I am so grateful for both businesses helping me get started selling my flowers. We have a small flower stand in our driveway. We open our flower stand most Fridays and sometimes additional days depending on how many flowers we have in bloom that week.”
Growing flowers is something Johnson said she has always loved since she was a young girl.
“I wanted a side business I could run from home while still being available for my family,” Johnson said. “This is also something my kids could help me with. They have learned hard work, patience and entrepreneurial skills, and so much more through helping with our family flower farm.”
Johnson shared they also offer monthly bouquet delivery subscriptions.
“We also take orders to provide flowers for special events like birthday parties, bridal showers, bouquet bars, rehearsal dinners and more,” she said. “I love knowing that all the flowers I put in our bouquets are grown in our garden. They are as local and fresh as you can get. I love sharing the flowers we’ve worked hard to grow with the community. It is a joy to be a small part of bringing beauty from God’s creation into people’s homes and the special and hard moments of life. Flowers are such a tangible way to connect with others and share a simple happiness in a world that can sometimes feel so disconnected and stressful.”
Her flower bouquets are $20, large in size and pre-wrapped at pick-up. She also has a photo stand and baked goods available for purchase as supplies last.
The Red Barn Farm flower stand is located at 1932 County Road 1464 in Cullman near Cullman Regional.
