Dainward (Dan) Carroll, 84, passed away on July 23, 2025, at his home residence in Baileyton, Alabama. He was born July 29, 1940, in Georgia, the son of Wesley Leon and Effie LaRuth (Freeman) Carroll.
Dainward a long-time resident of Baileyton, Alabama married his sweetheart Nancy(Bartlett) Carroll on September 2, 1961. They were married 63 years.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister, brother Larry L. Carroll, and granddaughter, Kellie D. Caples. Surviving in addition to his wife, Nancy (Bartlett)Carroll, are his daughter, Pamela (Tony) DeBerardinis, son, Joey (Shawn) Carroll, brother Aaron (Marzie) Carroll; grandchildren, Matthew DeBerardinis, Lukas (Jessica) DeBerardinis, Canaan Carroll, David Carroll and Zoey Carroll. Great grandchildren, Emma DeBerardinis, David DeBerardinis, Gavin DeBerardinis, Carter Caples sister in law Ruth Carroll, a host of nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, Smokey Elvis Carroll, the black and tan miniature dachshund.
