Funeral services for Mary Will Lee Smith, 93, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. before the service.
Mrs. Smith was called home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born September 25, 1931, to parents, Clarence and Freida Jessie Schultz Lee. On May 10, 1951, she married the love of her life, Willard Hugh Smith, and together they raised three wonderful children. Mary loved the Lord and her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and granny. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds. She was an amazing cook and made the best biscuits and chicken dressing. She was a wonderful and caring woman who touched the lives of all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Smith; son, Randall Matt Smith; brothers, Wras (Katherine) Lee, Colbert (Freida) Lee, Onie (Ludelle) Lee, Dumont ( Joan) Lee; sisters, Nasavo (Hugh) Milan, Regina (Coy) Maner, Charlene (Milford) Bass.
Survivor include her son, Mark (Karon) Smith; daughter, Anita (Keith) Williams; grandchildren, Patrick (Amanda) Smith, Tabitha (Josh) Brown, Lori Clark, Jessica (John) Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Selena Clark, Lydia Smith, Macie Brown, Jax Rodgers, Charlie Smith, Walker Brown, Collin Clark, Jace Rodgers, Ave Claire Clark, Carter Clark; great great- granddaughter, Stella Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
