Charles “Chuck” Henry Dorough, age 52, of Blountsville, Alabama formerly of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Chuck Dorough, a devoted family man, husband, father, and Pop, Chuck loved his family and their farm, D6. D6 farm was not a source of livelihood for Chuck’s family but a testament to his passion and commitment. Chuck was a hardworking individual who always put others before himself, embodying the spirit of a true son of God. His willingness to help others and his dedication to his family were evident in every aspect of his life. Chuck’s commitment to excellence was demonstrated all over the United States over the last 20 years through his service and excellent work with HARCO Services Inc.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Calhoun Dorough.
He is survived by his loving wife, Holli; Children: Meghan (Beau) Thacker, Drew (Maggie) Dorough, Maddie (Levi Carter), Devin (Brandie Shelton), and Alan McCulley; Grandchildren: Carter and Nathanael Thacker and Zoey and Easton Carter; father, Charlie Dorough; sisters: Stacy (Lynn) Horton, Kristie Dorough and Melanie Cook; a host of co-workers at HARCO, extended family members, and fiends.
A celebration of life visitation for Chuck will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave N, Pell City, Alabama 35125, followed by a a celebration of life funeral service at 7 p.m. The private interment for Chuck will occur at a later time.
