CULLMAN, Ala. – Tonight, Tuesday, April 29, Sportsman Lake Park will host Food Truck Night from 4-8.
This is the second year the park has hosted Food Truck Nights. The spring season runs until the Tuesday before Memorial Day, and the event resumes in the fall after the summer break.
Food Truck Nights offer fun, family friendly evenings at the park. Each week, a rotating lineup of food trucks offers a variety of options, including seafood, barbecue, tacos, desserts and more. Local vendors are given priority, but food trucks from outside Cullman are also welcome to participate.
The park transforms into a lively outdoor food court area, complete with picnic tables and overhead string lights, adjacent to the safe, fenced-in playground, where children can play while parents and caregivers relax and enjoy. Leashed pets are also welcome to attend the events.
“Everybody feels safe, and they can have a good night out without worrying about where their kids are or where they’re playing on the playground,” said Cullman County Parks and Recreation Director Kenneth Cornelius. “We just appreciate everybody who comes out. It really helps us promote the park and hopefully bring people back for other days and events, not just Tuesday nights.”
Sportsman Lake Park is located at 1544 Sportsman Lake Road NW in Cullman.
