Funeral Services for Felton Easterwood, will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Scott Adams and Colby Adams officiating. Visitation will be 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home prior to the service. Internment will be in Holly Pond Holly Pond Cemetery.

Mr. Easterwood, of Holly Pond, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was born September 7, 1930 to E.L. and Arvie Wren Easterwood.
He graduated from West Point High School and Jacksonville State College, and attended Peabody College and the University of Alabama. He was a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in the Cullman County School System for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Cullman County Hospice Board, the Cullman County Sports Hall of Fame, the Alabama High School Athletics Association and Holly Pond First Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tam Easterwood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Felix and Evelyn Easterwood, and Clomer, “Shorty”, and Ruth Easterwood; brother-in-law, J.C. Hendrix; and daughter-in-law, Janet Easterwood.
Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Polly; sons, Tim Easterwood and Tom (Lynette) Easterwood; grandchildren, Bailey (Sharla) Easterwood, Hannah (Scott) Bennett, Lanna (Jared) Hogeland and Anna (Joey Pace); and great grandchildren, Della, Andie, Avett and Peter Easterwood; Elizabeth Stuckey and Avery Bennett; Cora and Shepherd Hogeland; and Stella and Lyla Pace; sister Clovis Hendrix.
Pallbearers will include grandson, Bailey Easterwood; grandsons-in-law, Scott Bennett, Jared Hogeland and Joey Pace; nephews, Ronnie Easterwood and John Easterwood.
