CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Commission on Aging is looking to add a board of directors for the Ms. Senior Cullman County Pageant.
COA Director Stephanie Lawson said, “Board members play an active role in recruiting senior ladies to compete, securing sponsors and helping create a program book for the Ms. Senior Cullman County Pageant. We will work closely with Ms. Senior Alabama, Inc. as our goal is to help Ms. Senior Cullman County to be successful at the next level.”
Lawson said they are looking for individuals who have a heart and passion for senior women, as well as knowledge and experience of how pageants are organized.
“We would love to have a board of directors in place by May 1,” Lawson said. “Our board will be dedicated to helping senior women find their purpose, empowering them to recognize the importance of being involved in their community.”
Lawson shared that the Ms. Senior Cullman County Pageant has been on pause since 2019 and the first hurdle in restoring the platform is identifying individuals who are willing to work together.
“If you have a passion for empowering senior women and would like to contribute your skills to an inspiring cause, we encourage you to apply to be a part of our Board of Directors. Together, we can create a platform that honors and uplifts these incredible women. For more information or to express interest, please contact us at 256-734-1241,” the COA posted on Facebook.
