Bruce Alan Carpenter, age 65 of Vinemont, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Cullman Regional. He was born January 5, 1960, to Lonnie Carter Carpenter and Juanita Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and sister-in-law, Kim Carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sandra “Sandy” Carpenter; sons, Adam Carpenter and Kevin (Amanda) Carpenter; brothers, Dennis Carpenter and Jeff (Tayra) Carpenter; nieces, Kayla, Alyson (Colin), Alyssa, Feribah Auston Claire and Madison; nephews, Kyle and Nathaniel, mother and father-in-law, Fred and Ramona Merrill; brother-in-law, Steve Merrill and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Bruce worked as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Cullman Regional and Crestwood Medical Center for his career. The only thing he enjoyed doing was volunteering his time with the Sheriff’s Office as a reserved deputy. He did this until his health prevented it, as well as his love for his family and friends, Bruce’s love for and trust in Jesus came to be how he viewed everything in his life. He often shared with others how Jesus had sustained him through a number of major health issues. It was important to him that they know that love too. Bruce will be missed by all that knew him.
A special thank you to the Staff at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Cullman, AL.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northbrook Baptist Church on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
