Funeral service for Marlee Grace Martin, age 15 months, is Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Daystar Church in Good Hope. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry Lawson. Visitation for Marlee will be from 2-3 p.m. at the church and interment will be held at Cullman City Cemetery.

Marlee was born May 16, 2023, to William Shane Martin and Melody Ann Evans Martin. She passed from this life too soon on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Children’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Edward Evans, great-grandfather, Louie Harp, and great-grandmother, Margaret Martin.
She is survived by her mother and father, Melody and Shane Martin; grandparents, Alan and Tricia Thomas, Lee and Laurie Evans, and Emmett and Bonnie Martin; great-grandparents, Jayne Evans, Hazel Harp, Haskell and Robbie Hulgan, and Bobby and Anne Thomas.

Marlee was a precious miracle with the sweetest spirit! She was a huge Daddy’s girl. Throughout her short life, she overcame unimaginable struggles and hardships with strength, earning her nickname, “Mighty Marlee”. She touched many lives in such a short time and her legacy will live on for years to come.
