Mary Faye Bright Robinson, of Holly Pond, Alabama, entered into the presence of our Lord on Saturday morning, May 18, 2024, at the age of 79. Mrs. Robinson was born in Marshall County, Alabama, on September 19, 1944, to the late William C. “Bill” and Mary Ruth Landers Bright.

Mrs. Robinson was employed by SCI for many years as an electronic technician. Faye and her husband, Rickey, loved to take apart electronics and put them back together. Often times they found broken things at the pawn shops and restored them to working condition. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson also enjoyed attending church together at Edison Chapel Church. Mrs. Faye loved her church and church family, and she was passionate about the Word of God. She enjoyed studying and learning about her Savior and she found scripture to a comfort. Faye enjoyed gospel music and she and Rickey listened to various artist sing praises to the King. Faye lived out her faith to the best of her ability, and she offered an open door to anyone who was attempting to do good. Mrs. Robinson loved animals, particularly her dogs. She enjoyed her vegetable garden and she liked to crochet, sew, and embroider.   Faye was married to the love of her life, Charles Rickey Robinson, for 59 years. Rickey went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2024, and as she promised, Faye followed him as soon as she could. The bond between Rickey and Faye surpassed earthly understanding and Mrs. Faye grieved for her beloved both emotionally and physically. Even though their time apart was but a few short days, to Mrs. Robinson it was an eternity. Faye was ready to see her Jesus, be reunited with her parents whom she loved so dearly, and to be with her beloved Rickey. The Father heard her heart and granted her request. While Faye will be missed greatly by many, we know she is exactly where she longed to be. Faye is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Rickey. She is survived by three cousins, Johnny, Jan, and Delba; friends, Brian and Cathy, George, Dave and Michelle; and her little dog, Sherlock. A time of visitation will be held from 2 p.m., with services begin at 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Daryl Bailey will be officiating. Burial will follow in Edison Chapel Cemetery. Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Robinson family once again, and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with them.
