Walter Lynn Garrett, 75, of Pulaski, TN died March 21, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.

A native of Holly Pond, Mr. Garrett was born Dec. 5, 1948.  He was a 1967 graduate of Holly Pond High School, and a 43-year employee of Zurn/Clarage Fan Company.  Ordained as a deacon at Berlin Baptist Church,  Mr. Garrett continued to serve at First Baptist Church, Pulaski. He loved Jesus, his family, the outdoors, traveling and helping others. He loved basketball and coached youth basketball teams, served as Sunday School Director, and if you ever met him you weren’t a stranger for long.  He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 26 years, Roseanna Adams Garrett, parents, Melvin Lester “Red” Garrett and Phillis Louise Garrett.

Survivors include wife, Kelley Garrett of Pulaski, TN; children, Chris Garrett (Amy) of Birmingham, AL, Kimberly Williams (Jeffrey) of Hayden, AL, Jonathan Garrett (Catessa) of Cullman, AL, and Kristina Garrett of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Luke Williams, Savannah Garrett, Alyssa Murphree, Cayleigh Anders, Eli Williams, Carson Garrett, Peyton Murphree, Brodie Garrett, Levi Murphree, Emma Garrett, Madison Garrett; great-granddaughter, Willow Mann; sister, Sandra Henderson (Melvin); many brothers and sisters in law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.  

A Memorial Service was held March 25, at First Baptist Church, Pulaski. A Celebration of Life will be held at Berlin Baptist Church on April 6.
