Funeral service for Marie Ditto, age 83, of Pinson, will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home-Cemetery with Randy Wren and Jim Abbott officiating; burial at Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home-Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ditto passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1940 in Foley, AL to Deward Reese and Vida Lee Raney. She retired from the Birmingham Housing Authority after 27 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edna Raney; granddaughter, Amber Wren; and grandson, Brain Wren.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Van Ditto; daughter, Marsha Sims; son, Randy (Carol) Wren; son, David (Jennifer) Ditto; son, Stephen Ditto; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Marlin (Glenda) Raney; brother, Glenn (Geri) Raney; sister, Carol Law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
