Jason Daniel “Pork Chop” Cofield, 46 of Arab, Died Saturday Jan. 27, 2924 at his residence.
Jason was born Aug. 10, 1977 in Marshall County, Alabama, the son of Thomas J. Cofield, Sr. and Loretta Lowe Cofield. He was a truck driver for Mid Central Carrier’s. Pork Chop, as he was fondly known to his family and friends, was a diehard Auburn Fan and enjoyed the adventures of over the road trucking.
He is survived by his mother: Loretta Lowe; brother and sister-in-law: Thomas and Crasanda Pruett-Cofield; a niece: Desi Pruett-Cofield; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral Service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Altoona, Alabama in Etowah County, with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Pallbearers: Greg Cofield, Thomas Cofield, Charles Lowe III, Jeffery Lowe, Dustin Mason and Rickey Mason.
The Cofield Family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home during visitation from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m.
