Violet was born Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1947 in Cullman, Alabama, the daughter of Earl Davis and Eunice Kirk Davis. Violet lived the first twelve years of her life on a farm in the Center Hill Community. She loved to reminisce about those carefree times spent with her younger brother and sister and the adventures they enjoyed. The family later moved closer to the city of Hanceville. Violet attended Hanceville High School, Class of 1966. Her primary job experiences consisted of working as an aide in hospitals and nursing homes, where she was a favorite employee of the patients.

She married Danny Pair in 1972 and their only child, Chris, was born in 1973. Eventually, she became a stay-at home mother. Violet is fondly remembered as being a selfless person, always putting others before herself, in the home and away from it.

She later worked as a sitter for the sick and elderly. She attended First Baptist Church in Hanceville later in her life for a number of years and enjoyed feeling the security of being loved by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  A joy in her life was being blessed with grandchildren and playing with them.
