Funeral Service for Claudia Elaine Hanks Kreps, age 82, of Hanceville, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Don Simmons officiating; interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kreps passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at her residence. She was born June 15, 1941, to Claude Lee Hanks and Ina Eldorado Hanks Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis “Buck” Kreps, and parents.
Survivors include her children, Bryan Kreps, Pam Kreps, and Jason Kreps (Beth Brooks): grandchildren, Andrew Kreps, William Kreps, and Mary (Keith) Chase; step-grandchildren, Erica Thomas, Nathan Sherbet, and Brandon Sherbet; great-grandchildren, Sydney Harris and Everly Kreps; step-great-grandchildren, Brantley Sherbet, McKenzie Sherbet, Brodie Sherbet, and Ezekiel Thomas; sister, Debbie Hanks; brother, Les Baker; and sister, Rhonda Richardson.
