CULLMAN, Ala. – Sarge, an approximately 1-year-old male terrier mix with a chocolatey brown coat, is available for adoption at the Cullman County Animal Shelter.

Sarge is true to his breed, with an athletic build that has helped him excel at basic training – well, the shelter’s recreation area at least. Despite being up for any physical activity, he maintains a low-to-medium energy level, bringing the best of athleticism and lazy cuddles in his personality.

Sarge is quiet and chill in his kennel and has a good understanding of personal boundaries. He’s an intelligent boy who exhibits a great deal of common sense – hard to find sometimes in a terrier breed! With the right direction, he’s sure to excel in any discipline. He epitomizes the traits of a therapy or companion dog, and he sure would be happy to be yours!

Are you ready to serve with Sarge? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes spay, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.

Contact the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
