Obituary: Judy Ann Amore

Funeral services for Judy Ann Amore, 76, of Cullman, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery in Baileyton, Alabama. Reverend Ory Hampton will be officiating the service.

Mrs. Amore was born Jan. 24, 1947, to the late Habert and Evelyn Ryan. She passed away October 24, 2023, in Cullman, Alabama.  

Survivors include her children, Portia Smith (Joe), Saundra Whatley (Danny) and Patsy Nunn; grandchildren, Kristin Powers (Trey), Alex Jones, Tiffany Phillips (Tae), Jody Jones (Serena), Ashley Hildreth (Anthony), Bradley Capps (Hanna); Rusty, Brett, Ashley, and Holly Whatley; and Brandi Smith; great grandchildren, Reagan Powers, Jaiden Freeman, Josi Jones, Alli Freeman, Jesse Jones, Tripper Jones, Alayah Hildreth, Kennedi Phillips; Connor, Cameron, Cana, Colten, Caselyn, and Cashten Whatley; Matt and Gavin Smith; siblings, Edward Ryan, Nancy Stricklin, and Michael Ryan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Amore was preceded in death by her husbands, Odis Howell Lee, Richard Lowell Nunn, and James “Jim” Amore; brother, Robert Edmondson; sisters-in-law, Joyce Edmondson, and Ann Ryan; and nephew Mark Ryan.
