Obituary: Hope Dooley Fallin

Hope Dooley Fallin, 82, of Warrior, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023 with her son by her side.

Hope was born Dec. 3, 1940, along with triplet sisters, Charity and Faith, to Ray Thomas Dooley and Ettie Mae Forsyth Dooley in Cold Springs, AL. She graduated from Tarrant City High School and worked at the Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham for nearly 20 years.

Hope married the love of her life, Rayford Fallin in 1960 and they gave birth to their only son, Brian Fallin in 1964. She was a compassionate woman of many talents and spent most of her time caring selflessly for others. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, singing in the church choir, serving in the community and loved watching Alabama football.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rayford Fallin; sisters Charity and Faith Dooley, Maye Dooley Stricklin, and Ruby Nell Dooley Welch; and brothers, Roy L. Dooley and Leldon Ray Dooley.

Hope is survived by her son, Brian Fallin (Shannon); sister Anna Sue Dooley Tubbs; grandchildren David Fallin, Faith Lang (Adam), Chanah and Brianna Fallin, great-grandchildren, Cadence, Jacob and Jaxson; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 U.S. Highway 278 East) in Cullman, Alabama 35055.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bremen, Alabama.
