Jerry Wayne Johnson, 77, of Haleyville, passed away Sep. 13, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.
He was born March 1, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama. Jerry loved Alabama football, watching westerns, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Sep. 18, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Tammy Anderson; son, Scott Johnson; granddaughter, Jerrilynn Johnson; sister, Christine Scogin; brother, Sammy Johnson and wife Pat; and niece, Sandy Evans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vonda Johnson; parents, Rube and Savilla Mae Johnson; nephew, Paul Ashley Johnson; brother-in-law, Travis Scogin; niece, Myra Scogin Weems; and great nephew, Erik Weems.
